Gary Hullette has been actively teaching guitar to students in the New Orleans area for almost 40 years. He has also taught at the University of Mississippi at Columbus under the direction of Dr. Rick Montalto. Primarily performing in Las Vegas, where he is a member of Local 369, he was on call for many of the big name shows such as Liberace, Ronnie Kole and Mitzi Gaynor. Mr. Hullette’s recordings and original soundtracks are featured in motion pictures such as “The Pelican Brief”, “Forgotten on the Bayou” as well as New Orleans commercials such as “Copelands Restaurants.” He has shared the stage with artists such as with Steve Allen, Rita Moreno, Debby Boone, and both Harry Connick Sr. and Jr. Mr. Hullette was the featured Jazz soloist with the Atlanta Symphony Summer Pops under the direction of Albert Coleman. His CD released on Louisiana Red Hot Records, “Dreams Do Come True” has received rave reviews around the country and is in the jazz rotation on Sirius Satellite radio.
