Marlon Jordan PhotoTrumpets

Marlon Jordan is a graduate of the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA), Marlon often serves as an instructor for the Baptiste School of Music and has taught at the Don Jamison School of Music. An accomplished classical musician, Jordan has performed with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra. Trumpeter Marlon Jordan was one of the “Young Jazz Lions” who was signed, recorded and promoted on major record labels in the 1980s. Mr. Jordan recorded three LPs for Columbia and one recording on the Arabesque label. Following the release of his debut works, he took his quintet on the road joining Wynton Marsalis, Miles Davis and George Benson on the JVC Festival lineup.   Marlon tours Brazil and Europe regularly representing the City of New Orleans and the US in 2005 on a State Department tour to Bucharest, Germany, Lithuania and Ukraine.
