Camp will again take place at Loyola University New Orleans, 6363 St. Charles Avenue in the Communications Center/Music Building at the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Calhoun Streets. The program includes three weeks of intense music education classes Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Music students must attend all three weeks of camp. Dance students must attend both weeks of dance classes. The absence policy allows two days of excused absence for vocalists and instrumentalists that can only take place the first and/or second week of camp. Dancers may only miss one day of camp the first week of instructions. All students must attend the last week of camp (all 5 days) and participate in the dress rehearsal and culminating concert – no exceptions. Free lunch is provided in the Loyola dining hall daily.
All students will be photographed and will receive an ID that must be worn while on Loyola’s campus every day. If the ID is lost or destroyed, it will cost the student/parent $50.00 to receive a replacement. Students must wear the ID to camp every day.
